Q : Why Did You Decide To Buy A Property In Dubai?

I bought my First home in Dubai in 2021 once I was sure that want to live rest of my life here. Dubai used to be bare desert lands when I first came here, but over time I saw how the desert slowly turned into one of the top cities in the world. When Burj Khalifa was built by Emaar, that’s when Dubai’s real estate market sky-rocketed.  New projects keep coming up every month, and the capital appreciation of properties in Dubai has only increased over time. Deciding to invest in Dubai was one of the best decisions I’ve ever made.

Eli Salim’s first property in Dubai is a 2 Bedroom Apartment at Collective 2.0, which is currently listed with us. She decided to invest in an off-property in 2020. Now, she is the proud owner of a brand new apartment in one of the most sophisticated communities in Dubai.

But, how much would you need to invest in a property in Dubai? We asked her that too, keep reading till the end!

Q : What Advice Would You Give To Someone Who Wants To Move To Dubai?

Dubai is designed to make you spend more than what you earn. I’d recommend you to educate yourself before coming here. You can first visit here as a tourist and have a look at the city, but it’s better to find a job before you come here to settle down. Dubai is a popular business destination, so there are many new companies and many job opportunities. Even we are looking for real estate agents to expand our company.

Q : Is It Hard To Buy A Property In Dubai? How Much Should You Be Earning?

Actually, with an average of monthly salary of $3000, it is possible to buy a property in Dubai. We have a property which is $70,000, so it is possible with this income to purchase your own property. And actually I think it is better to buy on mortgage and own a property in the long run than to pay for your rent.

Q : As A Real Estate Agent, What Advice Would You Give To Women Out There?

As a woman with years of experience in Dubai Real Estate, I’d like to assure young women that they can succeed with patience , hard work and positivity.
